I too have met other anglers on the way out of the Carbon packing native fish!!! This does seem to stem from total ignorance rather than the exercising of some perceived native right, (BU****IT)!! JUST SAYING THAT LEAVES A BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH.These people seem to be the same ones that show no compunction against knocking a salmon that was obviously foul hooked, (remember September?).The individual that I met became very agitated when I pointed out the fact that he was illegal. Try not to let the actions of a few ignorant slobs ruin your day.
There are still a few natives in the carbon system. I managed to C&R a nice hen today just below the mouth of Voights Creek.
