I have fished the Pt. Defiance area for longer than I care to admit. It has been my observation that if a person wants to learn spots and techniques from the most successful anglers in that fishery you will need your looking tubes handy, and be vigilant, as you will not see any net waving, or hear any squeals of delight from those who are most successful.

Your anecdote about your short hike on the OP, was really funny and struck very close to home, because, now you know who that guy was that was following you, it was I.
