Coho and Flickr. Totally agree with you both. I was just trying to briefly answer the question on rearing native offspring in hatcheries. Not trying to argue right, wrong, or otherwise.

There's no easy answer. There's nuances to each species and each hatchery. I only know some details of what is done up here on the Columbia/Snake systems. Even then, I don't know as much as I would like to. There's a reason there's thousands of pages on the subject.
