These will almost certainly have immediate implications for chinook next season. Everyone should be prepared for little or no chinook-directed fisheries.

The immediate past 5 Chehalis escapements from 2008 forward fell short of goal 4 times.

The Hump goal was met 4 out of 5 times in the same period… but the commission recommendation specifically states escapement of NATURAL ORIGIN spawners, and that is not how the escapement has been reported. So it could affect the Hump.

Fisheries SHALL be managed for a 5% impact on the NT side. Comm share of the state fishery shall be 2% and rec share will be 98%…. and those fish shall be used to gain access to harvestable coho.
