We would like to take our small RV out to Neah Bay for a few days in June and try casting from the breakwater for rockfish and salmon. (I see in the regs that for salmon, we would probably have to wait until July to fish those).

I'm pretty sure some of you guys have cast from that jetty and I would appreciate your suggestions as to the best month and jigs, etc. to use.

We fish the beaches on Whidbey Island for salmon with buzz bombs and rotators and would also take plenty of jig heads with plastic curley-tails to toss to the rockfish and lingcod.

We would likely be able to go out there for a week in June or July.
