The Nisqually has good runs of salmon most years. This year it was closed due to low return of chums. The steelhead were mostly wiped out by overharvest. As for netting on the river, the Tribe nets from noon wedsnday to noon sunday, then goes over to McAlister creek. Which BTW is the old Medicine creek.
