I know of one lake in eastern Washington that holds browns, bows and tiger trout that I've seen fish go crazy over adult damsels. It is pretty special when it happens on the day you are there.


I also know of another lake in western Washington that holds cutts, bows and cuttbows. It has a prolific hatch of red dragonflies in the early fall. Lots of times they'll knock the natural out of the air or will totally miss it. The fish will come back looking for the bug on the water. Cover the rise with a cast and hold on. The takes are spectacular.
Now if it was only in New Zealand......
