That was awesome. The slow motion predator from the deep perspective definitely gets me excited.

Got to see something similar during a cicada explosion in the same area (Otago) a few years back. Never did get a big down to eat my artificial though.






These things were massive, easily an inch and a half or two long not measuring the wings. I can't imagine even a large fish packing more than a couple in, but then again they've been found with 12+ mice in their stomachs down there.
