Most of us would just like to know our tax dollars are being well spent. That would change much of the conversation.

A 14 billion dollar light rail system that isn't designed to remove cars from the road. It only pirates riders from the buses that are currently available. A tunnel boring machine that isn't moving and was only decided upon to increase waterfront property values. Etc, etc...

Nobody is disputing that fees and taxes are a necessary funding source for us to live the best country in the world. But, people should be able to question what those dollars are being used for.
