Chris-
Last year for my senior trip I got to go to the Deschutes for summer runs. Even though we hit it when the fish were playing hooky and got skunked, the senery and weather cannot be beat. And it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to go either. You could do a 2 week trip for under $400 really eisy. Very easy river to read and fish with either fly or gear. You would have a blast. We went the 1st week of September and the weather was great! Got into the 90's one day. Congratulations on graduation! Give me a yell if your ever-up this way (Sauk, Skagit, Stilly, Skykomish Rivers) and we could maybe get together. Always looking for someone my age to fish with. All my friends that I fish with are in their 30's of 40's and it would be nice to fish with someone my own age. If the Deschutes idea sounds good, email me and I could give you some more specific details, when, where, etc.
