Regarding anchoring, I anchor my 10 foot boat all the time. There are some days I don't even get off the boat, I just fish from run to run anchored while covering a spot, then pull anchor and drift down a few feet to new water.

The 10 foot boat fully assembled can fit in the back of the truck at an angle but it won't with a canopy on the back. But all the boats your talking about can be disassembled and fit back there just fine. But it is nice to transport the boats assembled, so as not to mess with inflating and deflating at the end of the day. I carry my 10 footers and bigger fully assembled on a trailer and my 9 footers fully assembled in the back of my truck.
