As I mostly fish the nisqually once the silvers and kings get out of the way I'd have to say any time after october ,a few of the northern rivers get fish earlier than that ,I'll have to check my log book for exact dates it seams to me that last years run was a tad bit late.As far as size goes I'd say the average is something like 8 to 14 lbs with quite afew in the high teens low 20's my personal record is 23lbs a bruiser I got on the Satsop.I beleive the state record was caught here also somethiung like high 20's low thirties I saw a pic of the fish ...what a PIG...These fish are SO strong you will need meds for arm cramps and backache if you get into the run during peak time I've had 20 fish days...hooked not landed ...bring bandaids I still have a nasty scar from a big buck I tried to c&r last season he ripped me deep so I took his maneater butt home and smoked his ass ummmm good drop me a line Hawk if you make it down this far....I'll bring the bandaids take care see ya in the fall
