Hawk, like i said before color is not the important thing. when the fish are in, they will strike or mouth about anything in front of them, or at least what slides thru their lips.
like i said, i fish down by shelton on small creeks, kennedey and on the north side of town, you can almost pi** across both waters at low tide.

last year i saw good fish, a couple so bright, even after being out of the water for an hour did not have the typical marks showing. 5-14 pound's, and in shallow water a few up to 25 pounds.
man what a hand full in less than 4 feet and 15 pounder is, kick you right in the fore arm, fast and bang can be gone in seconds.
make sure you bring plenty of good leader material, like i said, them teeth will do everything a mad, hell bent fish can do to your terminal gear.
