I've noticed a lot of post's asking for information on drifts and take out/put in's. In an effort to repay all who have offered me excellent information on this board, here is my payback for beginning drifters. My wife got me this book for my birthday. The book is geared towards canoers and kayakers, but has given me more information about river access for my drift boat than I have gained anywhere else. It details put in's, take out's, river miles, difficulty ratings etc. It's called Paddle Routes of Western Washington, ISBN 0-89886-630-8. Please remember, rivers change every year, so I suggest you call ahead to the nearest tackle shop or guide for up to date info. Tight Lines, and no sweepers!
