Although I traveled a great deal, I worked from a home office for the last 12 years of my working career. Now retired, I don't work at all... moose

Wife works at home providing customer service via phone. She works for a company that handles the business for dozens of major companies, including Microsoft and Verizon. Doesn't pay much above minimum, but then there's no commute, no needing to get dressed up for an office environment, etc.

Steelspanker's suggestions are right on target. Treat it like any regular job, but you just happen to be doing it in a home office. DO NOT get in the habit of web-surfing while working...you'll never get anything done.
