AK-74 is a semi-auto shooting a 5.45x39mm cartridge. Don't think it's even made in a full-auto design. It is also based on the Kalashnikov design.

AK-47 can be made full-auto or semi-auto, and shoots the 7.62 round. Once you get shot at (or near) with an AK-47, you will never forget the sound.
