SheFisher...he wasn't targeting the silvers, because they weren't legal to fish for at the time, and of course he released EVERY silver. He was targeting rainbows and cutthroat using small (#2 or so) needle fish (just about any color works) and pulling them with downriggers along the shore's 30 to 35 foot contour line as close to the bottom as practical at 1.5 to 2 knots (no flasher). I'm sure you can probably catch them using lots of different presentations, including cut-plug I suppose, but that may be more work than it's worth. Stick with rocky bottom main lake points for the best action usually. I think I'd take along the standard green hot-spot flasher and some hoochies w/herring strips just in case they attract the bigger fish, as the fish are running pretty big this year from what I hear.

As far as a launch location, there are several around the lake, but the WDFW launch at Kenmore on the Sammamish Slough is a popular one, albeit way too small and only one little ramp...get there super early!
