Didn't even realize the USF&W was still using cyanide bombs...thought
they stopped that stuff back in the 80's.

The cyanide kills all predators, meaning Eagles, badgers, fox, etc. get just as dead
as the target critter. Cyanide is a non-specific killer. Not to mention that anyone who
sets a lethal device like that anywhere near a home is a complete f'n idiot.

Any honorable trapper knows you never, EVER set a lethal trap anywhere
near housing. This includes conibears and snares, as well.

How do you responsibly catch that residential running coyote? Set a foothold trap at
a proper set, and then check it twice a day. An offset jaw foothold (#1-1/2 or a #2)
properly set using swivels will not break a dogs foot, but it will hold the critter til you
can release it, or terminate the offending coyote when caught.
