Looks like the truth is starting to come out now, Oregon CPS in 1984 pulled Murrays license to be a foster parent permanently because he was suspected to be a child molester. This was only done after a thorough investigation. The reports were thought to have been destroyed but suddenly have been found.

The worst thing about all of this is that somehow these criminal acts have been hidden from the public, somehow people who where Oregon State Employees kept their mouth shut and possibly even facilitated this to be hidden from the public for some reason. allowing a pedophile to successfully run for and hold public office in a neighboring state. It was not like people somewhere were not aware of this, its hard to keep something like this hidden regarding a high profile Mayor, you actually have to work at it and lie to people about records being destroyed.

These types of stories are difficult to keep hidden, so you know for sure the State of Oregon had to work real hard to keep a secret like this for 35 years.
