Ha. Guess who is bankrolling Inslee's re-election bid? Seems discriminatory to me? As an Independent I have voted back and forth over the years. It's really a time for change of the guard.

If there was sports going on now, I would bet that the tribes would open their casinos immediately coronavirus or no coronavirus. Maybe they will anyway. I think Inlee's and the Legislature's wallets are getting a little fatter.

Follow the money....
Sad thing is, even if someone else was elected, nothing would change I don't believe. Politicians sell their moral compass in exchange for power and position.
It's way to late for the ordinary citizen to have any impact for change...

It's way to late for the ordinary citizen to have any impact for change... With 30 years of one party rule, open corruption, its unfair to say another political party would act the same. It's getting worse it started with Christine ..... now dipshit Inslee.. I am sure several people in this forum support Inslee.

Giving tribes a monopoly on sports betting is just as much a mistake as was giving tribes a monopoly on casino gambling. The Legislature gave tribes the means to purchase political influence well beyond their numbers, and they just enlarged that means. So the logical outcome will be a further increase in tribal political influence. Well stated, and I agree 100%. Inslee seems to have a penchant for accepting freebies - e.g., using a nation-wide, cross-country Washington State Patrol security detail for an obviously futile vanity trip running for POTUS, to name one. I seem to also recall him saying he could do his governor's job from anywhere in the country just by conducting a 30-minute phone call each day.

What we really need to do is flip both the state House and Senate. Remember all spending bills that we got to vote on last fall? Seems the Dems have never met a tax they didn't like.

INEPSLEE just took another step in controlling the state via the State Supreme Court! https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2020/04/grace-helen-whitener-washington-supreme-court.htmlSocial Justice ? How many sportsmen are liberal thinkers and believe in Social Justice? They are shaping this state into their liberal utopia and the Tribes are a big part of it. State income tax unconstitutional (not for long) 30.00 car tabs (forget about it) Fishing/hunting rights of citizens should be equal with the tribes ( Not as long as we have a one party rule owned by the tribes)
