i run braid, so i run a barrel swivel from the braid, to about a 2 1/2 foot leader with a duo lock on it...

never once had an issue...

i will use spoons like the P Line and Pentac's out of the package with the swivels, but dont need all them honestly as i have never had an issue whatsoever..

just a, if it aint broke, dont fix it, type thing...

coincidentally however, i do sometimes run swivels on spinners, but that is mainly when i am running squid on them and it gives the skirt something to hold on to....

i dont run spinners a ton tho for Salmon, even tho they work great..

i just like spoons, Cleo's to be exact...

I vote Oly Pen, specifically Bear Creek run on the Sol Duc, and everyone has to take their share on the sticks.

At the end of the weekend we'll have lost about 2/3 of this crowd, and it will quiet down around here a lot

I like to put a barrel swivel on the top split ring and you're dialed.
I feel it works the same as putting one on your hook.

I haven't lost a fish on a spoon in I don't know how long.
