Any fisheries groups do assessments of the candidates on ballot?

You can all get behind the Lands Commissioner candidate who will open the state to year-around fishing. Knowing that much about how the state runs makes him a prime candidate..

Some of you have been reading Inslee's resume'.

No candidate, if elected, is going to do a damn thing about fish and fishing. Some might say they will if it makes a good sound bite, but that will be the extent of it. The fact is that fishing is no longer very important in this state. It is to a few people, but it's way down the list of priorities for most.

Inslee avoided the Chehalis dam. More than likely won’t be talking about THAT again.

Preliminary results show Culp and Inslee leading. I heard Culp is a hunter and fisherman and Inslee is in the tribes back pocket.

Has anyone heard Culp speak? He talks like a low IQ citizen who doesn't know or understand WA law or what the job of governor is and isn't. I guess we could have predicted that Rich would vote for him.

I think we already know the outcome of the "he's not a politician, let's elect him!" experiment.

I am sure he's a great guy, and I am sure his heart is in the right place, but he is already in way over his head and it's only the primary.

Electing people who don't know how to govern is a shitt idea.

Fish on...

Culp's failure to get a decent statement in for the voter pamphlet convinced me he's not the right guy. Unfortunately, nobody else seems like the right guy either.

I was told and info appeared on some other forums he somehow got screwed over during the publication of the voter pamphlet. All his qualifications and some of his statement was left out, he says on purpose from Inslee supporters running the publication? Strange how everything becomes a conspiracy when things don't go your way. Doesn't matter now anyway. The voters will get to decide who becomes Gov. in Nov. IMO, Inslee's had his turn and not getting my vote this time around, regardless of Culp's lack of experience. A risk? Yes. I'm ready for a change. Hope I'm not falling into the Rich G. hole.

I had lunch with friends yesterday and a British friend of mine said something very insightful. "It's either a cock up or a conspiracy and it usually is a cock up!" Truth!

Had to look that one up.
"The definition of a cock-up is a British slang term for a mix-up or a state of confusion. When you forget to cancel a meeting and everyone accidentally shows up when not expected, this is an example of a cock-up. "Cock-up."
Agreed.

Unfortunately....most of us get a "cock-up" our arse with whom ever we elect in this state. Just too much special interest money running our government. ....now that I think about it, it's not just here.....it's everywhere.
