i've been getting more seriously into fly fishing this winter and have been experimenting with different leader styles (length, materials, taper, etc) and now find myself carrying quite a few leaders with me to the river where i used to only carry a few at a time. i used to store them in small ziplock bags but now im looking for something more organized. What do you guys use to stow your leaders in your vest or pocket? the only thing ive seen out there are those cheap green plastic luhr jensen leader wallets but they look like they wont last very long. What im trying to say is...what is the easiest way to keep your leaders?

Interesting question. I suspect most of us 'choose' a leader length that matches the rod/our casting ability and just change out the tippet section.

Personally I've usually only got a couple of spools in my packet. That said, I do carry a "complete set' of spools from 30# down if I ever have to build a complete new leader.

Depends on how your fishing; sink-tip fishing I carry two spools of line (15lbs. & 12lbs.) when using a dry line I always carry a spare plus the last two tippet sizes

How to organize the leaders?

If you’re using zip-lock bags your more organize then me smile

I'm not really into changing leaders. I do change my tippet size to the fish I'm out for but on my floating line I only use one leader and many different sized tippets. And on all of my sink tips I use very short leaders.

Why one would change a whole leader and just not the tippet is beyond me.
