We’re going to grill a few hot dogs and burgers, a few ears of corn, and have an early dinner. Then up to the gun range for a go with the old hand trap that no one uses anymore. We’re taking the bird dawgs along in the truck so they can judge how bad the up coming bird season will fare. Few broken clays = few future bird dawg retrieves.

Happy 4th to all of you degenerates

We did some burgers and hung around the house and did random little projects yesterday. The fireworks were pretty much non existent where I live. I guess people got the memo about the dry weather. I have never heard it even close to that quiet.

Pretty noisy around here last night, but it did quiet down earlier than usual. After midnight it got fairly quiet. Seems like the local patriots usually keep blasting away until around 1:30.

Ah, they're getting older Salmo and need to go to be earlier.

This year was the quietest 4th I've heard in 16 years in this house. My town is renown for anything-goes fireworks with lots of Boom City customers blowing up shiit for days. This year, waaaay less of that.

My "hood" was way more noisier than in past years, it was just crazy!
