Anyone near Portlandia that would like to help me with producing some unusual content for an application to a tv show.

I need a chase boat to make sure I don't drown, preferably someone with experience sturgeon fishing. The idea is to take a bushcraft tarp boat (I've built a couple and they're getting better), a hand hewn oar (working on that), and getting that out on the Willamette to hand line fish for oversize sturgeon. There's some danger involved, mostly all to me, but having an experienced boater as an extra set of eyes, and to pick me up should I swamp the boat and can't swim the fish to the beach.

I'll have a gopro, but if you've got one mounted on your boat, or enjoy shooting vid all the better.

Who's in?

VHawk

you can message me here , or email vhawk29@hotmail.com

Hell yeah bro. That’s right up my alley bro. I got some kayaks and GoPro mounts that we could get lots of footage from. Love to do some collabz. We could get some good footage. I would want to share some on my YouTube channel too.

VHawk? Same old funny guy VHawk that used to post a bunch? Hand line for oversized sturgeon in a home made boat? Are you planning an Alone adventure?

Tie the handline to an ankle wrap.

You're volunteering?! Sounds great. Make a human bobber out of you. I'll just put a bright orange hat on you, tie that handline to your ankle, slap a crappy PFD on you, and wait til you go under.
Goddamn that would be great youtube content

There's a whole lengthy follow up application process, but yes that's my show. This is part of that content for the application video.

Handlining an oversize sounds both stupid and hard on the fish.
Meanwhile their population declines.
Seems a little self serving but I wish you the best of luck being Alone.

After nearly 8 years of serving time for a set of very foolish choices I am finally back in the soft grace of freedom. While I lost a good amount of weight in the clink my ole pocket book is even lighter. Any chance this gig has compensation involved? If so I have a very nice innertube with a max thrust minn kota that will meet your requirements and I am also a certified NFOC.

Let me know.
