So today I was patiently waiting for a my tadpolly dealer to show up at the local 7/11 and I was surprised to see an old friend pumping gas who actually recognized me still. We exchanged pleasantries and then the topic turned into fishing as he apparently has recently taken up this activity. He promptly showed me his latest haul which included a boot nate king with a fresh bleeding gash on the anal fin. I asked him quickly whilst zooming in on his handheld device if he had snagged that fish and if he knew that it was a native king. His response was, dude, I am out to feed my family and I don't really care what it takes.
So here's my question for the interweb crowd. I know this fella and I do know that he is not really financial secure. Is this OK? I told him he shouldn't have done it, but he was adamant that his family needed the food. I was completely at a loss for action. I know were not in the best state of affairs these days but really, are we at that point?
Not knowing what to do I called the HOG hotline and surprisingly they told me it was actually fine because he was foraging and planning to consume the fish. I don't know maybe this is all foolish but so much has changed in the world these days I have no where else to turn to but this dark inverted color forum.
