I believe WDFW could and should do better with their funding but they receive a lot less than necessary to meet what people expect off them.

Pruning the top heavy staff in Olympia would be a good start.

Our Government is so inflated beyond any reasonable capacity to administrate a system that represents the peoples interests,, health and welfare... The Government represents its own interests plain and simple,, at all levels...

The only possible way to get relief from this abuse is to debase the currency and officially bankrupt the country...

I don't know what they need but do know that, where the rubber meets the road, they don't have enough. As Rivrguy said, some top-pruning is likely necessary.

What we need is an open and transparent process for the public to see what is needed, like by line. For example, to produce X fish at Soos Creek we need this much money for staff, utilities, food, etc. Line by. line what is needed. Add in each task with what will be accomplished. Start at the bottom and add "support" staff as needed; again justifying span of responsibility.

It will require more public involvement asking pointed questions.

Why do we pay way too much money for a bad service with less and less opportunity to access the resource?

Its not that the management model for fish is bad,, its that the entire government model is a black hole of corruption and Idiocy...


Look at this state budget with 9, Billion in new taxes and still billions of unfunded liabilities,, a budget with a massive deficit was passed,, forcing people into huge debts stacked upon already huge debts...

The smart thing for Furguson to do would have been to file bankruptcy,, fire all the state employees and restructure the entire state government... Great opportunity to get the people out from under unfunded liabilities and chit can the dead weight... Instead Washington State doubled down on stupid and fisucked the people even worse than they already are...

The government in this state are corrupt idiots but most of the people who live here are even dumber... its not just Washington State,, its the whole damn country who got educated at brainwashing academies we call Universities,,, they got instructed on how to be stupid and are now unskilled retards with big fat EGO's and no brains...

Over the years, I will browse through the government job openings just to see if there is anything that I would consider.

If you want examples of waste, this is an easy place to start.
Among the stupid jobs I have seen, one was sound transit looking for an art curator for their growing collection of fine art. Paid over $100,000 starting. A quick look at sound transit shows at least 6 people employed in their "START" program, bring art into the substations. I think this is just the managers. If you are looking, they are trying to hire more people.

I have no idea how many positions there are for this.


Since I have spent about 5 minutes to find these, my guess is that there are literally thousands of these jobs out there.
