That was one tough Super Bowl. May the better Defense win. Congratulations to the Seahawks.

I'd never heard of Bad Bunny until it was announced that he would do the SB half time show. I'm not a fan of rap, but Bunny is a pretty good singer. A friend suggested that they should have left the trees and shrubs on the field for the second half to really shake things up.

There were two good defenses out there, that's for sure. We should note that the Hawks got through the playoffs with something like zero turnovers. That won them the games.

He’s talented I suppose, but the show was bizarre and not relatable to most people. Most people watching the stupid bowl don’t speak Spanish or have a way to relate or connect with the performance. It catered to a small minority of people and was boring.

I also briefly tuned in to the Turning Point USA alternative half time show. Only mildly better if I’m being honest, but I got bored of that too and turned it off and went to throw the football around the the kids.

The NFL is a global enterprise as one can see from the games on other continents. Lots of that world speaks Spanish; they are looking to a global impact and revenue stream.

Long way to go, though, as the numbers I saw give the men's World Cup 3x the global audience.

I found Bad Bunny's show ok. Lots of energy and good choreography. Heck, though, even when Lady Gaga was singing in English I couldn't figure the words. Should have worn my hearing aids..

The way I heard it is that Bad Bunny's half time show didn't relate well to racist white nationalists. I don't understand Pavarotti singing in Italian either, but it sounds good enough that I can handle it for a bit. This Boomer kinda' likes a salsa beat. I read that Kid Rock's lyrics connect well with an audience that likes sex with underage girls.

So if you can’t relate to music or a song that is sung in a different language, you’re a racist white nationalist! Great logic there, bud.

I don't know if you're a racist white nationalist or not. Your posts do indicate that you relate well to the kinds of values they project, so there's that.

I don't really relate to the Bad Bunny either, or most SB half time shows. I was busy fixing food and drinks during half time, so I didn't listen or watch closely. But I liked it better than the Kid Rock excepts I watched on Monday. I read that the NFL is aiming for the under age 50 demographic, so I'm clearly not in the target audience.

Well for your FYI, I am white, I don’t believe any race to be more superior to others. I believe in equality, not equity, while also recognizing that disparities exist by race, but also not always being a function of racism and not always being something can can be resolved through reparations.

I believe in small limited government and individualism with familial/community based collectivism. Government’s role is small and limited. I and support my nation that embraces these characteristics, but we’ve grown far from these characteristics. I want my nation to act in the best interest of its own people and not cater to illegals, criminals, or other nations.

So I am white, probably not racist, and maybe nationalistic, but how are any of those inherently bad? What do you think, Salmo?

The bad bunny controversy is all a bit idiotic. Supposedly the show was about colonialism, but all the songs are basically about sex and booze. Even more stupid, is that the use of Spanish and lack of Lyrics had to do with no conforming to America or perhaps Imperialism. Yet, one look at Bad Bunny tells you he has more spanish roots then indigenous. And what about using Spanish. The language alone has as probably more imperialistic roots in the America's than English.
