This is the accompanying thread to the "UNIQUE FISHING TIPS CONTEST" thread. Some of the semi-lame or just funny tips that won't be a contender will be copy and pasted here.

For those with just some funny tips you are welcome to add them here along with the pasted ones. This should be fun. laugh

My first tip is this ...don't lose this contest you don't want to go anywhere with this Redneck sitting behind you talking smack and crashing into other boats while you're trying to hook a Fish and while he's trying to figure out"how do yall steer this Damn thing"
Here's my tip ,Don't predict 'We'll hook a fish in this next strech of water or I'll.... arm rassle a TimberFaller ...Trust me
I've got more I'll post later......Os

DYNOOOMITE
It works in all places, all water conditions, all weather etc...what else can you ask for.
Plus, unless you're where I am, I guarantee you'll be trying something noone else around is, and it is guaranteed to outfish anything else
Anyone want a demonstration??
BTW- I suggest lengthening the fuse a little, the ones from the factory suck

*This is one for the lunch box
If you go fishin with RT put a lock on it jk
Here it is When you make your sandwhichs put them in a zip lock bag so if is raining at least some thing will be dry There is nothing worse then a soggy sandwhich at the end of a long cold day of catchin fish.

*Doug, it wasn't your good idea to lock the food away from me :), it's because about everyone puts their sandwiches in ziplocks - and wanted you to have another tip slot available. - RT

Some tips for the DUMPSTER. ...

- Don't yell 'there ee is' everytime you snag up.

- Dive for cover if you hear 'Yall (Hey_Yall) say "watch this".

- Don't keep getting skunked every time you fish and keep coming home smelling like fisheggs and telling your wife they wouldn't bite me again.

- Don't climb down a steep slope below a big guy wearing smooth soled waders!

- If you are going to be standing in one place don't pass air in your chestwaders.

I told you these were for the dumpster.

I have also found with the beach, coho, bobber, herring deal , it really helps if you can get a guy casting a pink buzzbomb to ask 'Can you catch fish that way?"

Jerry Garcia:
You're telling to many of our herring/bobber secrets. It's even better when your fishing next to the pinky buzzbomber and you start nailing pinks on your bobber & herring. Then you start to hear them grumble when you catch & release every pink you catch and tell them your only after coho today.

Oh yeah I have also found that if you have 5 seagulls escorting your bobber/herring on every cast the coho tend to take notice.

This is great, keep it up everybody!

Howdy,
My tip is one I learned from Jean Enerson, Never ignore the obvious. The spot right next to the bridge often is as good as it looks. The spot where the fish jumped is a good place to cast. The type of lure that the guy who has caught 10 fish is using is worth a try, even if it's beneath your sporting ethics to catch that many fish. Know what I'm sayin'...

Hey Mark, I'm not so sure that doesn't belong in the tip contest laugh . Not a bad idea; except the '12' part. On second thought, maybe leave it here. smile

This heres an evironmental and safety tip to keep in yer craw when fishun fer warmwater stuff.
If ya'lls fishun fer bass make shure you'z sink yer beer can n bottles before you'z fire up yer 225 Merc n skeedaddle fer summa momma's fried catfish fritters at the ranch cuz hittin one of them flotin'cans n bottles at 102 mph can open up yer Skeeter perty durn good n ya'll might end up on the bottom. Plus lookin at floatin Millwakies Best cans aint to purty. Dem Bud cans aint too bad though. Bad 'nuff we gots to look at all them guys floatin in them inner tubes and little rubber boats anymore.
Also, if yer lookin fer a good fishin spot n can see down to that thar bottom where youz fishun look fer them sunk cans cause thats where its the best fishun n everybody n thar hounddog knows it.

When looking to join the biggest crowds fishing on the most outdated info just purchase a copy of Fishing and Hunting News and follow their maps.
