Sure,
Drive from Silverdale and launch at Manchester and fish the top end of Area 11 instead!!! wink Two king limits and the fish will be there long before the south end of the Canal. Nook' fishing there doesn't really get going til' mid August. Keep watching the board, I'm sure someone will post when the Hoodsport and Skokomish runs start showing up. As for trolling tech, use the search feature and use key words like south sound kings or trolling tech and you will find some good detailed tech on setups for the sound.
