so far this year i have had 6 fish take the o ring and hook off of the wart.always on the belly hook.seems to me like they have made the belly eye a little smaller in the last year or so.the o ring can't spin in the eye,the fish starts twisting and slips the o ring right off.i use a little larger hook than the factory ones,i know i can put all new o rings on and such, but shouldn't have too.i am interested if anybody else is having or had this problem.in my opinion the wiggle wart is the best plug on the market just need to fix this problem.scott

In short:

Take off the factory hooks and split rings. Replace the split ring with one of higher quality, if need be. Put a 1.5" bead swivel on the belly split ring. Either put a siwash or EWG/Owner trebble (Vision doesn't make a good trebble yet..don't even know if they will get in to the trebble market) on the end of the swivel. Voila. Problems solved. That fish can spin until it's blue in the face.

Email me if you need specifics.

Hi Scotty, I take off the factory hooks and run a single #4 Gamie treble off the back. Has been working great. Haven't had any of the trouble you have described. Good luck
