dave,
Have not been out since Monday morning and did not touch a thing, last fish we got was on Saturday morning 8/4, its kinda slow as far as I can tell, but if you can learn something for the derby I guess it is worth it. 0 is still a number confused

NEN,
Just talked to the guy who runs a local fishing store in Port Orchard over on Bay Street. He fished this morning and apparantly picked up two nice fish.
smile .can't remember what size he said, but I'm thinking he said they were 15lbs..lost a couple and released a small one. He was going out again tonight when he got off work..I'll stop by the shop tomorrow and get another report. Saw a dozen or so boats out this morning on the way to work, so I'm guessing their either trying awful hard or something is starting to happen. Guess I'm fishing the derby this weekend. Bought my son and I each a ticket and a few of my local fishing partners are doing the same. Let me know if your gonna be oout there this weekend/

dave,
I will be out the next three mornings and trying my damndest for a derby winner, the guy at the tackcle shop trolls with a cut-plug 30 feet out on pink lady. works for him, never for me?? confused I will send you an e-mail Friday afternoon, to let you know how I did. Beware of the tides Saturday and Sunday mornings, kinda low, could equate to nasty launch lines, launch early. wink
