Fished the mouth of the Sky this weekend. Loads of pinks and small groups of silvers moving up. Good action on the pinks with egg sucking leeches. The coho seemed very intense on getting upriver fast, and were charging through the river. No coho for me, but I heard of a few being caught in the Snohomish.

The timing should be good for the Sky Valley Trout Unlimited Coho derby on Sept 29. Open to non-T.U.-members as well. I'm sure Beezer will be posting some info on it here soon. Only $10.00 entry fee and a whole lot of fun.

Fished with clients on the Sky sat. and sun. Lots of humpies released, and 2 silvers sat. and 2 silvers sun. Only saw a few silvers on the move on sat. but on sun. once we got below the 522 bridge silvers were jumping everywhere. These fish that are on the move are typically non-biters, at least for my boat. Should be lots of fish in the river for the Derby Kevin. Hope to see lots of you out there. Good Fishin` Bob H.

Thanks for the report Bob, now it all makes
sense. I fished the shipwreck area Sunday and
no sign of the big silvers we got on Saturday. That low pressure front that came through on Saturday night must have pushed them into the Snohomish system. See you on the river.
