I'm having a hard time finding colored bodies for spinners. Does anyone know of a potential source? I'm trying to make spinners that resemble Vibrax (colored body/silver blade) but I can't find colored bodies. Mor-Tac doesn't carry them and I'm not sure if Fisherman's Shack still does. The website for Fisherman's Shack may have changed because the address that I have doesn't work. Mor-Tac has metallic bodies such as silver, brass, copper, etc but no colored. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Cohoangler, I too have had a hard time finding colored bodies so I have improvised a little. I have had good success with buying unfinished bodies and giving them a coat or two of finger nail polish. It comes in every color imaginable and it dries very quickly. The one thing that I have noticed is that it sometimes takes a couple coats to ensure a smooth looking lure body. I know it might test your manhood to purchase fingernail polish at the store, but all you can do is hope none of your drinkin buddies see ya.
