sunday was better. My buddy and me had 11 fish(hot rod) for you other old timer P.P. boys by legal hook-ups and we napped by game time got to love it!!!

Were you bankin' or sleddin'?? If sleddin', where did you launch??? I have been on this part of the river a lot the last few years, but never at the low flow levels that are there now. Is there any real skinny spots to watch out for??? Plan on fishing it this Thursday.

I ran my sled for the first time on Sunday from Camelot up to the mouth of the Toutle. There were a couple of spots that got my heart beating faster, but we made it OK. Another sled slowed down in one stretch and became a small island, but they were able to get out and push it downstream and get rolling again. The last rapids prior to the Toutle pool looked like wet gravel. I beached my boat and watched three other sleds run it both upstream and downstream prior to running it myself, and we made it OK. Keep your eyes open and pick your runs well...and don't slow down, and you should be OK.

We picked up one small steelhead on a spinner, and saw a couple of other salmon netted, but it was pretty slow.
