I know a couple dudes that tell me they land biting spawned out salmon while fishing. I'm not talking about fish with a little color, but dying SPAWNED OUT salmon floating downstream. Now I know downstream spawned steelhead bite. Caught a couple of them. But salmon, has anybody else caught these fish, or is this just another line of BS I always seem to get.

BTW, one of the dudes might be reading this board, you know who you are. Now you know what my moniker is. wink

Ha, them white spots make for a great target for all you fine snaggers out there.. I've caught fish that were black or some that were actually fairly clean fish but had white open wounds similar to those they obtain after spawning, those marks on there face came from trying to get into traps that weren't open at the time. Once in a while you'll see a fish go by your feet in the middle of the season when they shouldn't even be spawning yet with white on it, perhaps that's what they're talking about. Better tell RT, Kidsauk and superfly where this is at as a spawned out biting salmon with white marks would most likely win there worst fish comp.
