We went down to the Carbon today to see what was going on down there. Not much at all. Seen one fish brought in by the tail and was amazed when it got put back. Miracles never cease to amaze me.
The one thing that kind of amazed me was that we were the only ones there with a kid of any age. No little ones, no big ones, no teenagers.
Wazzup with that?!?!?!

If I had taken my son out today, I would have been back at the truck by 9;00AM instead of 1:00PM, he's five. It was a bit nippy out, and I only take him out when it is warm, or when I plan a short trip. It is a lot more enjoyable for both of us.

We do plan fishing trips "just for him", and then there are dad's trips. He got to go to Sekiu on two separate overnight trips this year, and even tagged 10 fish.

I think that as the weather gets colder, some folks will try to keep the kids warm. Then again, maybe it was just a day for dads to fish.

where is a good place to host pics at??
Apparently geocities doesn't like people externally linking to them. It showed earlier and now it isn't.

I fished with Catch-n-Eat yesterday at Tillamook. I had the pleasure of meeting his 4th grade son Spencer on the trip. My kids are older, and none like to fish, so it was fun to have someone other than RT, who will take a hand off fish. wink

Anyway, Spencer and I teamed up on this fish. After the fish was hooked he handled it from that point until it was in the boat. Way to go Spencer. It was nice to meet you, and fish with you. Oh yeah, thanks for netting it for us C-N-E. laugh
