save the bait (no offense Goose)
green works but I prefer cerise,

for some real fun try a Cerise Jig under a float.......they can't resist a suspended Jig......go figure wink

Nice Pickled Herring,
But these fish will actually bite. Using a beau mac jig in the cerise color under a bobber is a great start to getting these fish to bite... That trebel hook thing, leave that too the carp or something! wink Chums are one of the most prized salmonids as they will whoop your behind when hooked in the mouth... (Leave their rearend alone) These chums can be as aggresive as a chinook out of tidewater with a little patience and practice.
Good luck,
Keith

Cerise Zonker stripped jigs under a float with a a little shrimp oil worked well for me last year. The woofers sure seemed like eager biters to me. They bit on everything, as long as it was cerise. LMFAO

HEY GUYS,

It was just a joke!!

The only method I use on chums is fly fishing... I started fishing hoodsport 10 or so years ago, but quit fishing it because I didn't want to be associated with the low life snaggers that frequent it today. Also, you would be hard pressed to ever see a bud in my hand... I always have a batch of home brew close by...

no offense intended and none taken.
