Does anyone know of a source for two-way roller bearings. Gotta have direct drive. I think it would be intresting to see if there is a place out there would be able to fit one into the present day Shimano Bantams such as the Curado, Citica etc.

I also wonder how much the price would be...

Sure would beat tracking down 201's on Ebay and paying upwards of $200 for em. Ive got a couple 201's and a couple 251's and there is just no comparision...the 201's are such a superior reel.

One of the best NW sourses of reel parts is Ollie Damons in Portland. The number is 503-232-3193 (at least it used to be the number, and likely still is). They do lots of reel repairs and refurbishing.

To make a two way roller bearing out of the one way the shimanos have now, Just let them get really dirty. That did it for one of my Curados laugh

Centerpin.Would you be willing to make another for sale or trade ? How is working with a reel that is always in direct drive.e.g. Transporting or just hiking around.
