This week, Fisherman's Heaven heads to New Orleans in search of redfish and black drum, deep in the swamps out of Lafitte Harbor.

Yeah, I know...it's not as cool as salmon or steelhead in our rivers, but Bourbon Street sure beats downtown Forks for nightlife. smile

Sunday at 1:30 PM on KVOS TV-12.

Geez, no kidding. Just try and get anything accomplished with a box full of beaded necklaces in Forks.

As this IS public access, tell me you kept in the Bourbon Street misadventures. Let's give Spagg a run for his money!

tvhost - thanks for the heads up. I've had great times chasing redfish in the Laguna Madre in S. Texas. Is your show seen on cable in the Kirkland area? Any info on channel? Thanks, Bart

Dave,

Our show isn't on cable access, it's on cable. But I did ALMOST leave in an inappropriate scene by accident. I had the show all edited and then noticed that one of our "pans of the crowd" included a fine young lady "working" for some beads.

K

Bart,

We're not on cable in Kirkland. Our show is on KVOS TV-12 which covers from Marysville, WA all the way north to Northern B.C. However you can watch us on the internet (if you have Real Player - which is a free download) at www.thevisionchannel.com

Mon 2:30 PM PST
Tues 10:30 PM PST
Thu 6:30 PM PST
Sat 4:30 AM, 1:30 PM and 10:30 PM (ALL PST)

Do you guys with fishermans heaven keep the website up anymore? I remember reading that article about the popeil pocket fisherman (among others) years ago and i haven't been able to find it it quite some time .... just curious, that was a hilarious site. ...

Matt,

We don't do the "humor website" anymore. That was a blast and gave us the impetus to do the TV show. I have all those old articles around somewhere.

NO apologies needed. Reds are some serious fun,and mighty fine tasting (Im a North Fla native). But, I would still rather fish here any day.

Bart,

No, sorry. But I PROMISE you that if you go to Bourbon Street, you'll see FAR more than what we accidentally captured on camera!
