Low knot strength ,breakages and almost no abrasion resistance.

Thanks for the return Info chrome/22 I think I will tie up some more with the Stren clear Blue. I use a lot or Triline for my drift rigs and have had good results.

I purchased to spools of the crap last summer. It
is the worst line I have used in my life. Oh I
forgot that Jenkai Line is even worse. rolleyes After the first couple of times I notice that it
had abrasions and nicks for no apparent reason. mad I have gone back to using P-Line or
Maxima Ultra Green. THis year I will also try
Stren Original because of its performance in the
Fishing line comparison test that Sports Fishing
Magazine did last year with 85 different lines.
Don't buy the Perfection or Jenkai that are very
poor frown lines. These lines will break deep down
into the spool. Strange!

Maxima Perfexion ranked 46 out of 73 monofilament lines tested in the report that John Lee mentions. I sure wouldn't be using it on nates.

I don't trust the stuff. Very low knot strength.

Sidenote: Anyone ever try that Yo-Zuri line? Saw it in the Cabela's catalog.

Well, just lovely! I've not yet ried it, but the Maxima rep just kicked down a big ol' spool of 20lb. Perfexion to me. I've rigged several rods with it (mainline) for targeting big nates...and now I read it has whiz-poor knot strength!!! Rod rammit, Rorge!!!!

I should know better than to change something I've been doing successfully for decades. Back to good old clear/blue Stren, and Ultragreen for leaders, kids.
