What's the new deal with our Vehicle Use permit?
I just purchase my new fishing license today and noticed that the use permit now has Vehicle #1 and Vehicle #2 both written across the face of it. Since we can only sick it onto one vehicle, why the need for 2 license numbers? All I have is the 2001-2002 rule book. I couldn't fine anything in that rule book, so does anyone know what the point is of having vehicle 1 and vehicle 2 on it is? Has something changed in 2002-2003?

Thanks

I got my license at the fish and game office. And the way they explained it to me was that you don't have to stick it to your rear window or the rear of the car. All you have to do is have it in site in the vehicle. The reason for the 1 and 2 is you can now use it in two different vehicles.

Cowlitzfishetman,

Old Man has it right. Just becareful not to
leave your permit in the wrong vehicle. I'am
very forgetfull, so I bought a second permit for
$5.00 to stick on both of my rigs.

OLDMAN,
I am a young man but I used to go to the old chico elementary as BCS.I used to bring my colapsable pole and fish the creek when I got out of school.Used to hitch-hike home to pine road.Freind still finds steelhead.Oh yea the jar of power bait is at least 3 years old! cool

They change this stuff every year!At least it sounds like I get to remove a few years worth of stickers. This new pass sounds like something that will get lost or forgotten.I personally could probably get away with never posting the stupid thing as I am only on the launches 3 or 4 times a year.

For the second year in a row I met the guy that reeps the benifits from the enhancement fee.Nice guy.I guess the benifit is being able to hire a second person to help the first person during the summer. He showed up at kitsap l. boat launch.I was powerbaiting with the pups and had picked up half the trash in the boat launch and was taking a break watching my pole. These to showed up and hung a new sign and ran.It honestly only took ten minutes to pick up the launch,so why can't the state do this? One guy screws in the light bulb and the other picks up trash.

ltlCLEO, since you live in Bremerton and I used to. I need to ask you a question. That small pond out by Kitsap Lake called Carter pond,is that still fishable. We used to try and fish it when I was young but all the fish would stay in the center, and by having cheap gear we couldn't cast out that far. It used to have bass in it.

When I was younger we/I used to fish all over that area. Up and down most of the creeks and lakes. I wish I was still that young and I think that I would do it all over again. Jim S.

I do not know about carter pond but will find out for you!How about the mission lk. beaver ponds?Used to do good there for wild cuttys. It was getting pretty slim a few years ago.Lone duck pond?

Mosher creek in tracyton was my little piece of history.I used climb all over it as a kid.Learned more in those years than I will the rest of my life. The best memmories.Use to fish chico silvers and chums all by our selves too,You should see it now.

I'm not really interested in it,I just wanted to know if you knew about. I fished Gorst creek when I was a kid. It wasn't closed then and the fish were big.

I think that I was just thinking about how the fishing was when I was young. It sure isn't that way now. You could go just about any place and nobody would yell at you to get out. Jim S. smile
