Fished Redondo Friday morning, using first the "Easy Limits Approved" rig, then a spoon for awhile. Tried depths of 60-80' in 100-150' of water, at 2 MPH. I was getting lots of fish on the FF, from 40' down to the bottom.

No kings to the boat. shocked

Asked ~10 other boats at the ramp and on the water, no kings to their boats.

The water was really crudded-up and just full of jellyfish. Is that normal for that area? frown

At least we went home with 7 crabs. smile

Regards.

Sorry you did not have any luck. The muck in the water comes and goes. Wednesday afternoon the muck was really bad at first then the tide changed and it all went away. This weekend should be better fishing in the morning. There is a minus tide early. I have been getting my kings down 75' in 90' of water.

Picked up a small King down their this evening. 100 down in 130 ft of water on a hootchie. Slow overall though, might be 5 or 6 fish for 20 to 25 boats.
