I'm from the East side (Tri-Cities) and have the opportunity to fish the mouth of the Kalama.
Thinking about coming over this Fall and or Winter.
I have some questions.
1) What is the best time of the year to fish the Kalama?
2) Any good guides and phone numbers?
3) What run of fish during the Fall/Winter?
4) Is the mouth a good area?
5) What bait works best?
6) Boat launches near the mouth?

You can call Pritchards Western Angler (360) 673-4693 and they should be able to point you in the right direction. I personally fish upstream and do well. A guy by the name of Rob Orzel guides on the river exclusively and i know his clients have been very satisfied. Hope that helps.
