To whom it may concern,
I have'nt been on this board in a while. I wanted to know if the state of Washington has a similar fishery as Oregon does on the Trask river in Tillamook?
I fish the tide water from the bank with bobber and eggs. I stand about 6 to 7 feet above the water and fish a deep slot that runs along the bank and that is about 20 feet deep and 10 feet wide. This is a place called the Hospital Hole.
Does anyone know of places like this in Washington that I might want to try sometime?
I'm not looking for a crowded spot but one that holds fish. I was just wondering if there is any place like that up north.
Thanks for any info.

I can appreciate your wanting to know about such a spot, one that both has good fishing yet is uncrowded. I think you'll find that people are unwilling to post about spots like that, lest they cease to be uncrowded. But they exist.

If I were looking for such a spot, I'd poke around the Willapa Bay and Grays Harbor area.

Hey Vic,
I don't think you're going to find a place like the Hospital Hole in Washington. If there is one nobody will tell you. Ha Ha. I have been to a few places similar in Grays Harbor.
