What is your recommendation for a 7/8 weight spey line?
Email me if you want.
Thanks,

Stew-
It all depends on the rod as not all 7/8 lines are the same and not all 7 and/or 8 spey rods are the same.

Let me know what rod you are planning on throwing the line with and I can give you my recommendation.

Stew-
I prefer longer belly lines...hate all that stripping.

On that note, a perfect match for that rod be the 7/8 Midspey!! The Midspey is a 67' foot belly which is great for the beginer to learn on yet suits the needs of even the most advanced Speycaster.

If you prefer a shorter belly such as Windcutter length, take a serious look at the 8/9 Delta Spey by Airflow. The line, in my honest opinion, is a little bit more pleasureable to cast then the Windcutter as it is not so weighted towards the head which produces a less herky-jerky cast.

Note-The Midspey runs heavy in grains hence the 7/8 Midspey yet the 8/9 Delta Spey.
