As of today, Monday, I have a new motor on the back of my boat courtesy of Auburn Sport & Marine and AS&M's president David Knudtzon. THANKS! Dave for getting me taken care of. I really appreciate it.

I didn't want to post this during your ordeal, but I bought my new boat there last March and had a great experience there. They really took care of me and I feel I got a good deal there. I know I got a better price than what I was quoted at a couple other well known shops. Glad to hear they made things right for you and I am sure they will get my business again. Hey Carl, what about the rest of the boat? I can't imagine after being stolen and sitting by the highway that nothing else was wrong with it?

The boat is OK as far as I know, it floats. It had a large dent in the bow which I was able to pound out. The ultimate test will be when it is fully loaded and running at full tilt with the new motor. Gotta break in the new motor for three hours according to the owners manual.
