Was down there Saturday - all day. Started @ Blue Creek and got po'd due to all the guys who have never heard of the word "casting sequence." Was pretty slow. Caught a few pretty summer runs and saw only 3 winter runs caught. A few silvers but nothing like last week. Last week you couldn't keep em off your rod. Hooked probably 30. HEaded to Barrier @ 12:00 saw 2 silvers and 2 summer runs. I, along with everyone else couldn't keep the moldy kings from hitting. Must have hooked 20 kings. All black and moldy. If you're into combat head to the Cow. You never know. I'd give it a couple weeks though........

P.S. I'd hit the lower green for early brats. A buddy of mine has already gotten 2 up by highway 18. Hard to keep the dark silvers off your line though...

Fishing has been great this last week on the lower Cowlitz, almost all of them are bright, sea lice still attached. Try putting in at Camelot if you have a boat and head down towards Lexington, or through Wigglers off the bank in the Lexington area.

laugh laugh Went to cowlitz today by myself, my two friends backed out too bad for them. I took the sled and had the best day with big brite silvers I have ever had. Got two 20lb. bucks and a 15lb er, all above Toledo Bridge. The fish were all over backtrolled and forward trolled plugs also got some to hit Vibrax spinners. What a day and a workout!
