Looking for directions to the ramp on the Cowlitz at I-5. Also, is there any bad water to worry about upstream or downstream? I've have a sled and will probably be going this weekend. Any recent fishing reports would also be appreciated. OK to e-mail me directly. Thanks.

Easy Water both up and down from there.

Check you Gazateer for the name of the little road that takes you there off of Jackson Hwy. Tiny road drops right down the hill. You can barely see it. It's called confused , oh what the hell is the name ... confused

From Vancouver, Exit 57, turn right at the stop sign, go about a mile or so, left onto Mandy Rd, ramp is on that road just after you go under I-5.
Good luck and tight lines, Jeff laugh laugh

Can you launch a sled from this ramp now? I was last there about 2 years ago and it was completely silted in.

I was there a week or so and guys were getting small open sleds out. There is a pool to launch in but you got to get out over a bar (10 inches deep then) that may entail pushing. Bring your chest waders, you might have to push it for 20 feet. I would not try a 19 foot windshield boat.
