Don't you read your copy & paste articles before you post them? It has nothing to do with the nature of the American curriculum; it's about the conditions imposed by U.S. law regarding ICC prosecution of Americans in Latin American countries.

Maybe we're better off letting the Chinese train them; their economy is expanding much faster than ours. They can probably better afford it.

And Craddock ought to check his history of the "American democracy" we have exported to Latin American countries. Every time a Central or South American country was set to democratically elect a leftist the U.S. gov't didn't care for, we intervened and helped or directly installed the dictator of our choice. Based on the history of U.S. actions, there are compelling reasons for Central and South American countries not going along with the U.S. agenda. Wouldn't you agree? If not, why not? (This is partially in response to BW's comment in another thread that you tend to post C&Ps and insults, but rarely, if ever, contribute examples of your own analytical reasoning. Got game?)

One of the things about Communism being the identified threat for so many years is that it gave a reason to overthrow populist governments in South America. Just a couple or three years ago, like a ghost of Christmas pasts, there was an attempted coup against Venzuela's Chavez. The coup failed and now there are democratically elected populist governments springing up all over in SA.

we have military bases in 130 different countries and china has military bases in.........china

maybe that is freeing up some money to invest in their economy and future.......oh wait investing in your own country is comunism......we need to be capitaists and sell off our country
